Windows 8 Restore Start Menu

Want that windows 7 start menu back on Windows 8?  Thanks to Tihiy via Windows7 Start menu, is now possible.

Two Files Required:
ex7forW8_1.0.zip
Explorer7


   1. Extract Both Files that was downloaded. 

Ex7forW8_1.0.zip & explorer.7z.

After extracting the two folders like seen below

2.  Open ex7forW8_1.0 folder and then download click "ex7forw8_setup.exe"

If User Control Security Warning may pop up, press “YES”

3.  At the Installation window, make sure create shortcuts and uninstall entry for all users is checked unless you have multiple users and only want it for yourself and then press "INSTALL"

4.   At the success window, press "OK"

5.  At the select windows shell, select "use windows 7 explorer", and it will ask you to point to the explorer files, which you extracted earlier and point it to that DIR.  and it will ask you to log off and after logging back in you should have the old windows 7 start menu.

Example: C:\user\desktop\explorer
